The Greater Region and the Issue of Relations between the Nation-State and Regions in the European Union

This paper analyzes the dynamics of relations within the Greater Region between member states–“some federalized, others unitarian–“and the regions of which they are composed. It studies its institutional framework and examines how the interactions between the State and the region and the institutional future of this transborder cooperative space.
