This contribution presents a project consisting of the creation of a virtual archive on Spain?s transition based on press articles compiled by Juan J. Linz. In particular, it describes the documentary process required for the creation of a digital database, and it emphasizes the articles? value as primary sources for analyzing this crucial period in Spanish history.
