The Moroccan parliament continues its process of diversification and transfer to the elite in a context of consolidation of monarchical power. The recodification of the channels for preferential access to the Assembly of Representatives have reconfigured cleavages and socio-political alliances. The Socialist Union of Popular Forces is a privileged object of analysis for these transformations. Ten years after the coalescence of a force centered around the king linked to the transformation of the left and in a climate of apprehension on both sides concerning the new "dangerous classes" symbolized by the specter of Islamism, a former party of activists has metamorphosed at the electoral level into a party of the notables.
