By André LalibertéEnglish
Religion in East Asia takes a great variety of forms and includes a wide range of practices in each society and within the context of three traditions: Confucianism, Buddhism, and various national traditions. Beyond these political differences, the majority of religious actors in East Asia approve of the existing political and socioeconomic order, which tends to work to their advantage.
